Manchester four-piece Velvet Shakes have released their electrifying new single ‘WORLD’.
The indie outfit mix disco, pop, and house into an indie pop style which swoops you in thanks to the use of synths and psychedelia.
‘WORLD’ is the fourth single since Velvet Shakes formed in 2018 and second this year since we caught up with frontman Josh Bithell in our introduction interview.
Whilst bathed in bouncing and dancing indie electronica, ‘WORLD’ is a refreshing single reaching soaring heights.
The band said the track is centred around digging up that inner belief when we all found ourselves in overwhelming and difficult situations and harnessing that power to get through it and keep on keeping on.
“The lyrics reflect a positivity that now, more than ever, we hope people will connect with,” add the band.
