Somerset quartet October Drift have been locked away in the studio over the Christmas period getting some new material to grace our ears.
Comprised of Kiran Roy (vocals, guitar), Chris Holmes (drums), Alex Bipsham (bass) and Daniel Young (guitar) they have been rising newcomers gaining a strong word-of-mouth following since exploding onto the music scene at the start of 2015.
Since the release of their second EP ‘This Is Nowhere’, they haven’t released any music but recently shared on Facebook they have been shooting a music video at Woodlands Castle, Taunton for their next single.
With shows at BBC6 Music Festival, Dot to Dot, Tramlines and Camden Rocks already under their belts alongside a cult fan base spreading the word, and a focus too few peers in their position possess, the immediate future is very bright. Not to mention the boys were featured in our exclusive Artist Spotlight feature – highlighting the rising stars in the industry.
The band performed at the legendary John Peel Stage at Glastonbury Festival this summer, which was most certainly their biggest highlight of 2017.
