It’s very rare that I’ll actually ever open a press release from a band with simply just links to their songs. But the mystery of receiving an untitled email was simply too enticing to ignore; too which I then discovered Liverpool’s Caveparty.
The four-piece town boys are a self-described Spacey, alternative Pop/Rock outfit who’s hook line and sinker is purely based on the strength of the music they create. Echoes strains of an Arctic Monkeys-esque pastiche, with a penchant for arenas like sing-alongs and indie vocal death. These boys don’t fuck about.
Caveparty have it all. They’ve got a strong repertoire and a back catalogue of album worthy songs and the desire to want to branch out. Having spoken to some of the lads, they’re incredibly down to earth and humble.
Having only played a handful of shows in their home city, Caveparty are already picking up a plethora of media establishments crying out to be the first the claim them as their prize. However, the real winner here is the promise that these boys bring to the coming year.
