3 bands to look out for in 2016

Let me start by saying; the happiest of new years to absolutely everyone who engages with IndieCentralMusic. You guys rock. It’s 2016 and I could not be more excited for Indie and Alternative music. When a new year arrives, it’s time for bands to make an impact. Here a just a few bands that I 100% believe will have a great 2016!

xJa-WYgxPLANET – The band have been releasing tracks officially since 2011 and haven’t really broke the mold. It wasn’t until July 26th, 2015 when the group released the single ‘Disaster Caster’; a delicious homage to a prehistoric type of Permanent Wave that I adore full-heartedly. Disaster Caster is a real anthem that should be heard and played all over. I expect big things from these guys. Hopefully, a solid EP with a variety of tracks, in the same manner, will put them on the map!

I have serious deja vu when I listen to these guitars because it reminds me of all of the great noughties indie bands that I grew up with. The View, Razorlight; every single one of them producing iconic anthems that will be remembered for years to come. The group’s single ‘Youth’ is just a taster of the sort of exposure I think these guys are going to receive! I can’t wait to hear more!

VANT – These guys are gonna be what Royal Blood was to 2014. Easily my favorite live act from last year. VANT are here to stay and expect to see them at Reading and Leeds this year because next year they’re gonna mainstage-ing for sure. The London-based indie quartet takes inspiration from the likes of The Clash and Rage Against the Machine. Fuelled by a passionate hate for this round piece of shit we call planet Earth; VANT is hell-bent on sticking their middle finger to every form of establishment imaginable. I recommend seeing these guys before an album comes out.
