As the UK lockdown edges nearer to a close, you will be thinking ‘what summer festivals can I make it to’.
If you’re passionate about new artists then look no further than the ultimate indie festival – 110 Above.
Since recently announcing what is arguably their biggest line-up to date and a new stage, Gospall Farm in Leicestershire is the place to be this August.
From Thursday August 12th to Sunday 15th, catch over 40 artists in action across four stages. Including seven of the must-see indie acts of 2021 chosen by us; Alfie Templeman, The Snuts, KAWALA, Baby Queen, Connie Constance, Liz Lawrence and Sam and Sounds.
Intimate performances by Bess Atwell, The Howl & The Hum, Junodream and Tayo Sound kick off the festival in style, followed by a special acoustic headline set from Nottingham’s Amber Run.
A weekend of bops at the gops follows.
On Friday Sports Team will bring their high energy and wit to the main stage and there will be sets from KAWALA, Apre, Liz Lawrence, Lauran Hibberd and The Clause.
Saturday, headliners The Amazons will rock the farm, as will Yonaka, Larkins, Alfie Templeman, NOISY and Zuzu.
Sunday sees Sundara Karma perform on the main stage. Plus Bloxx, Baby Queen, The Snuts, The Pale White, Deco, Olivia Dean, Molly Payton plus more on the final day.
110 Above Festival’s Founder and Curator Michael Lain says: “After a dismal 2020 for so many we want to make 2021 memorable for all of the right reasons. And we feel this lineup is our strongest yet.
“It demonstrates our commitment to being “the place” to see the very BEST emerging talent.”
This year, 110 Above festival will launch a brand new stage called The Elizabeth Stage and will host performances from the likes of Black Honey, The Snuts, Island, Liz Lawrence and Vistas.
“Although we feel optimistic we will of course continue to carefully monitor COVID-19 developments and we stand with other events calling for government backed insurance,” adds Michael.
The festival takes place 12th – 15th August 2021 at Gopsall Hall Farm, Leicestershire, CV9 3QJ and is known as “Indie’s best secret.”
