110 Above Festival announced first wave of artists

Popular Leicester festival 110 Above has released its biggest first wave announcement ever today (December 16th).

Highly regarded as one of the best independent indie music festivals in the UK, they have secured three big names to headline the festival in August 2020.

The Amazons, Sundara Karma (performing in 2018 above) and Sports Team will headline the three-day weekend alongside other major players Bad Sounds, Bloxx and Gengahr.

Before the announcement was made today, the festival called on its loyal fans to decide how many artists would be revealed in wave one last week.

For every 30 likes, shares or retweets across their social media accounts, one artist would be added before a deadline of December 12th. In total 14 acts are included on the poster.

Last year the festival, held at Gospall Hall Farm, celebrated its 10th anniversary with the likes of Easy Life, Mystery Jest and Swim Deep performing on the weekend. This year, the festival founder Michael Lain has stepped up the game to attract huge names to Leicestershire.

Next year’s grand event will take place on August 13th to 16th with a variety of camping available. For tickets and more information, visit www.110above.com.
