Watch: Pure Youth – New November

London based indie rock quartet Pure Youth have just released their debut music video for their single ‘New November’, which is from their debut EP ‘On Our Way’ in summer last year. The band consists of Dave Hibbert (lead guitar and vocals), Oliver Lyu (bass and vocals) and Elliott Liu (electronics, guitar and vocals) and Duncan Brookfield (drums).

Only a few weeks after mates formed together they produced five songs for their debut EP. With throwing off summery indie rock vibes left, right and centre. With a catchy chorus that’ll get you humming along there’s no doubt its a ‘feel-good’ song. This alternative soft rock of the definitive indie persuasion stands boldly. I love their sound, it’s really bad that I can’t quite put my finger on what they sound similar to – I think there’s a hint of The Kooks and Jamie T.

After numerous “sweaty rehearsals, recordings and performances”, Pure Youth have shared their brand of Electronically-tinged alternative rock with the people. I can see a lot of potential in this band after a successful 2015, playing alongside Lisbon and Youth Club as one of their highlights.
