Premiering exclusively on ICM is the official music video for Sally Caitlin’s ‘Poison’ taken from her new EP ‘Experiments’, which was released at the end of last month.
Sally Caitlin is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Manchester, UK, who creates electronic pop music with heartfelt, autobiographical lyrics.
Her songs are written about her own experiences, giving her music an honesty that is not always seen in commercial pop music.
She has been writing songs since she was a schoolgirl and released her first single, Stuck In Limbo, in 2015 following her graduation from university.
Talking about the EP, Caitlin said: “‘Experiments’ is essentially electronic pop, but was influenced by a wide range of genres and as always, my focus was on the lyrics, drawing inspiration from my own experiences. It tells the story of a character in a toxic relationship and all the emotions involved with that situation.”
The video is superb BUT it only works because your voice is the star. Great, individual sound. Clever words right on the money!
