Underground Exclusive Interview – WHITE

It was almost impossible for WHITE to fit in any more festivals this summer. But that being said, they have managed to grab a fantastic spot at this years Underground Festival! With an incredible line up about to rip Gloucester apart this weekend. WHITE will be joining the likes of Pretty Vicious, The Hunna and Feed The Rhino.

Hello White, We have spoken to you loads over the summer and you have really tackled this years festival season. Overall has it been worth it?

Neelam Khan Vela – WHITE at Electric Fields

Yo! Of course. We’ve had an absolute blast and have met a squad of wonderful humans, many of whom have legendary dance skills.

What has been the best aspect to the whole festival packed summer?

Firing in and out of fields far and wide, playing to packed tents and sweating our faces off has been amazing. In particular we had a ripper of a show recently at Electric Fields which we’ll remember for a long time.

Your set at Underground is at 7:10PM after Inheaven and before The Hunna. Are you happy with this slot? What would you say will make you stand out from the other bands?

We’ve played lots of shows with INHEAVEN this summer and can’t wait to join the guys again. By our stage time day will be night, which should be prime time for partying. Conditions are perfect.

Whats planned for the set? Is there a set list organised yet or any other plans?

We have a rough idea what’ll be going on… Come to the festival on Saturday to see how it pans out.

What is it that you’re expecting from underground festival, especially the fact that it is a festival held solely in a music venue.

Elaborate sweat that will drop from the ceiling and collect in the floor to form a salt lagoon for everyone to thrash around in.

Who else would you highly recommend to see at Underground festival?

You should totally go see INHEAVEN, throw your hair around, and then see us after. Bad Sounds are amazing too, get involved!

Lastly, we hope White goes on to great things, what’s in store for you guys in the next 12 months?

It’s gonna be BIG. EPs, shows, and maybe even a debut album if you dance real nice.
