He’s back after flying high at festivals across the Summer, Tom Grennan drops the first single from his upcoming debut album, Lighting Matches.

The Hertfordshire native has already made quite a name for himself, he has collaborated with giants Chase and Status twice, on singles,  All Goes Wrong and Tribe. As well as featuring on Grime star Bugzy Malone’s latest album. There is just something that we all love about his vocal magnificence, this track has finds us with our heads over our heels at ICM.

He has already had a hell of a year, releasing two EPs and now dropping this single. Back in January he featured in our Ones to Watch and boy, were we right. Keep your eyes on this man… he is about to blow up.

‘Royal Highness’ has all the things we love about Tom Grennan, pure eloquence vocally. His slightly rusty vocals are infectious, always wanting more. His cocky aura and outgoing nature only adds to the quality his producing. After grafting away for the last 18 months, churning out the tracks he has released, is only getting fans hyped for his upcoming album, it is something we have been waiting for a long time and we are just as excited as you are. The chorus draws you into his sphere of catchy-ness, it is simply inescapable.

The backing consisting of upbeat drums, funky guitar and clapping only compliments his stellar vocals. With each song, Tom gives something a little extra, bettering what he previously released. His debut album dropping in March 2018, is one of the most exciting prospects of next year.

Tom Grennan will be embarking on a UK tour this autumn, already selling out shows in London, Nottingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham. Not to worry though, he has announced another tour for Spring 2018, to coincide with his album released, these will be nights you won’t forget because Tom knows how to put on a show and he will want to party.
