Teeside rockers The Balcony have ambitious goals with new single

The Balcony

Deep in the heart of Middlesborough indie rockers, The Balcony have produced their debut single ‘By the Hand’.

They say the North East might not be the first place you think of when it comes to optimistic indie-pop anthemia, but the region has plenty of exciting new artists paving their way through the city.

Despite being a band for less than 12 months, the Teesside five-piece have been winning over the hearts and minds and the new single has just solidified all of that promise.

‘By the Hand’ is a blistering statement of intent from a band with everything going for them. The opening track from their debut eponymous EP, it sets the standard for everything that follows.

Four minutes of upbeat and optimistic indie-pop that’s destined to fill stadiums and echo across festival stages in the years to come, it would be an impressive release for any band, never mind as their first official single.

It’s clear that The Balcony are a band with their eyes on the bigger picture, and you can admire their ambition which is matched by the size of their choruses.
