SPINN released their latest track, ‘After Dark’ last Thursday (18th January). It’s the next single from their upcoming EP after they shared ‘She Takes Her Time’ last year. The quartet composed of Jonny (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Andy (Lead Guitar/Synths), Sean (Bass/Backing Vocals) and Louis (Drums).
Frontman Jonny talking describes the track as the most challenging song yet; “It was a song I struggled writing the lyrics to because in comparison to a lot of our stuff it is quite heavy and dark and I am not a heavy or dark kind of person.”
He adds more: “Essentially it is about seeing some friends relationships slowly break down. I wrote it in a ‘he said-she said’ way because as they say, there is always two sides to a story.”
The new track from the quartet from Merseyside bring their shimmering dream-pop which is similar to that of JAWS brings something that we have all been looking for on a rainy day.
