Song Of The Week: TRASH – Migraines

TRASH

Chesterfield quartet TRASH are Song Of The Week with their latest headbanger of a single ‘Migraines’.

With a new EP on the horizon, their hazy indie pop music is ready just in time for summer. Their love of reverb, anthemic choruses, riffology and psychedelic lo-fi intros flourishes, providing some extra textural and harmonic colour. Buoyant and full of sugary pop energy, crack open a cold one this hot Monday afternoon and you’ll feel a bit more upbeat after listening to this.

The band formed in 2014 but have only taken off since the release of their hit single ‘Give Up’, which saw radio play on BBC Radio 1 and also picked up a likely fan in Get Inuit lead singer Jamie Gloss, who we saw with a TRASH cap on at CloseUp Festival back in May this year.
