Song Of The Week: Jukebox The Ghost – Stay the Night

Jukebox The Ghost

At long last, Jukebox The Ghost return with their latest single ‘Stay the Night’.

Following an extensive tour leave from their self-titled album in 2014, the release of the fresh track gives us a taste of what’s to come for their anticipated album.

With inspiration taken from Queen’s hit single ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ with a classic Jukebox The Ghost styles piano-pop shines with power and confidence. The harmonic finesse, charm, and indisputable character of legends like Queen.

The inspiration came as no surprise with the trio having intensively studied Queen’s music for the past two years for their “HalloQueen” gig.

The band said in a statement; “We are very excited to share a brand new single ‘Stay the Night,’ which we recorded last autumn in Los Angeles amidst a ‘taco cleanse’.”

Though the band has about three albums worth of songs written since our last album, this song felt like an exciting one to let go of as we approach open-window-weather back home in NYC.
