Song Of The Week: The Kooks – Creatures of Habit

The mighty Kooks are this weeks #SongOfTheWeek with their latest single ‘Creatures of habit’ for their forthcoming album that is yet to have an exact release date.

‘Creatures of Habit’ seems to be moving further and further away from the indie acoustic roots of ‘Inside In / Inside Out’, but that’s by no means a bad thing. By going down the pop-funk route further by splashing in some synthesised vocals and a groovy electronica beat. There’s a balance of spinning guitar flicks mixed with a strong and smooth beat keeping it all packed tightly leaving you somewhere loosely in the 70s.
