Run River North deliver spicy melodic alt rock

Run River North

Well-established American Alt rockers Run River North have a new EP for release next week on May 5th.

The LA-based trio of Alex Hwang, Daniel Chae and Sally Kang have released new tune ’40G’ ahead of that release for ‘Monsters Calling Home, Vol. 1′.

The band first formed several years ago as a sextet called Monsters Calling Home before deciding to change to Run River North. As a celebratory effort ushering in a new era for the band, the EP is about finding hope in transition and discovering your voice in a sea of doubt.

The latest single ’40G’ has a front-and-centre guitar melody with anthemic rhythms about finding hope in transition, discovering your voice in a sea of doubt, and deciding to dance despite sadness.

“It’s learning to trust your own voice regardless of whatever’s happening outside of you,” Chae says.

The band have come off the bat from SXSW festival and two more single releases for the EP. Now Run River North is currently on a tour of America – check out dates below.
