Prides release new single Let’s Stay in Bed All Day

Prides

Here is the extremely long-awaited review of an extremely underrated summer bop.

Prides are a Scottish indie-pop-synth duo, and after their highly respected debut album ‘The Way Back Up’, they have returned with a summer blast of piano pop.

The duo is renowned for their exuberant energy and their latest single is no different. ‘Let’s Stay in Bed All Day’ is permeated by short verses and colossal choruses which allow for a sense of instant catchiness.

Bursting with brightness, the track begins with joyous piano chords, slowly layered with warming Scottish vocals and synth-pop beats, it climaxes to a chorus that you can’t help but dance to.

This feel-good song of the summer is a procrastinator’s perfection with the lyricism promoting spending, quite literally, all day in bed with the people you love.

‘Let’s Stay in Bed All Day’ is the first single to be released from their upcoming 7 track album titled ‘A Mind Like The Tide: Part One’ which is set for release on October 27th.

The lads are also set to be performing a sold-out intimate set at The Hospital Club in London on 29th November where they’ll presumably play many of the new tracks.

‘Let’s Stay in Bed All Day” certainly, provides a promising start to the guys’ new project.

The album is available to pre-order here.
