Ones To Watch 2020: Elijah Miller

Singer and songwriter Elijah Miller features on the ICM Ones To Watch list after making a name for himself following last year’s releases.

The Londoner and his band released his EP Idontlikethecold which included ‘Morning Sun’ and ‘Cowardly’ and made local BBC Music Introducing airplay. Each track is different, they could belong on different records but somehow Idontlikethecold blends the songs together seamlessly and as one ends, we expect the next to follow.

Elijah Miller’s older material was more acoustic-lead, but as we have turned into a new decade the man from Bedford has taken a turn down the rock highway with more reverb and grittier guitars. ICM saw him in action on the weekend as he played his first show of the year at The Old Blue Last in London and there’s a great new buzz around this sound.

In the coming months, fans will be pleased to hear that more music is on the way and there will be plenty of live shows to head down to.
