With 2016 over, we look ahead to what musical talent 2017 can offer, and with the masses of acts out there in the industry there is plenty for us to get excited about. Throughout January, ICM will be highlighting one new band each day and showing just why they should be on your music radar. Our 22nd act is Louis Berry.
The young Liverpudlian, Louis Berry has been under our radar for some time now and it is fair to say that he has completely smashed it so far.
Forming in 2013 he has quickly risen through the ranks to become one of the best new rock ‘n’ roll acts around! From releasing ‘.45’ to his most prolific single yet, ‘Restless’, produced by Steve Fitzmaurice (Sam Smith, Metronomy, Circa Waves) solidified his spot in the music community. With sold out shows, BBC and Radio X plays and a nomination for ICM’s Track Of The Year we look forward to what the journey brings ahead.
Louis Berry released his first track of the new year ‘She Wants Me’ on Friday, a fan favourite already, which you would have heard before at one of his gigs but you can find more about ‘She Wants Me’ tomorrow as our Song Of The Week.
We will be announcing a new band every day throughout the entirety of January and the ICM long list will be announced on February 1st.
