2019 is looking like it’s going to be a big one for the London band Bloxx.
The female-fronted band, made up by Ophelia, Moz, Paul and Taz broke onto the scene at the end of 2017 and have made a name for themselves throughout 2018, with impressive festival slots at Reading and Leeds Festival, Truck Festival and Latitude, and touring with likes of The Wombats, INHEAVEN and Sundara Karma, before taking their infectiously catchy tracks on their biggest headline tour to date.
They’ve already built an impressive back catalogue throughout their career, with current releases including Curtains, Coke and Novocain, which have made sure they aren’t staying confined to one genre. With catchy pop lyrics and grungy riffs, they bounce from indie-pop to alt-rock and just about anything in between.
So what does 2019 hold in store for Bloxx? Well, they won’t be sitting still, that’s for sure.
Touring almost constantly over the last year and the next year coming, Bloxx are certainly dedicated musicians. Having already secured a slot at next year’s Community Festival in London alongside indie royalty The Kooks, Blossoms and The Amazons, 2019 is going to be the year we see big things from the Uxbridge four-piece.
They’ll be back on the road across Europe supporting indie-pop legends, The Wombats in February, following their support slot at legendary London venue, Alexandra Palace back in March, along with their own UK headline tour starting in April.
