Me and the Moon – Ones To Watch 2019

Me and the Moon

Guildford indie-pop duo Me and the Moon have been slowly releasing a stream of singles over the past four years who are about to embark on a few UK shows for Independent Venue Week.

Things changed towards the end of 2018 for the duo when band member Alex departed the band to move back to Canada. Tamara and Jonny’s melodic bop has all the infectious vocal melodies and dreamy guitar chords are all you could ever want. The soft and elegant vocals flow effortlessly into explosive and anthemic choruses that instantly feels stadium-ready.

Me and the Moon have become staples of the gigging circuit. They’ve played over 160 shows with well-known indie bands and artists including Cassia, Marsicans and The New Coast as part of ICM’s Blogtober Festival last year.

With Guildford fast becoming a hotbed for the best emerging acts, Me and the Moon are undeniable proof that the music scene is far from stale. The duo has an exciting year ahead so grab the next possible opportunity to listen to their tunes or head down to a show as there will be plenty of it.
