Marmozets End Three-Year Break With New Track

Marmozets created a great album, with so many great songs on it, I’m not a fan of the genre, but I’m a massive fan of the intensity of every song Becca touches.

‘Play’ is no exception, it’s a track that is fast paced with catchy chords – everything that made us fall in love with the Bingley band in the first place.

They released their debut album 3 years ago, and since then they have released no new music, zero. But their break has ended with this track, ‘Play’.

The new track comes running up to Reading & Leeds Festival and lucky festival-goers will surely get to witness it first hand as Marmozets will be playing the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage this weekend.

IndieCentralMusic understands that a second album will be released later this year. When talking to NME Marmozets revealed what we could expect from the new material, “Everything is a lot more structured and there’s a clearer vibe on this. All the songs fit nicely together like a jigsaw for this second album – whereas I feel with the first, it was very disjointed in places almost as if all the jigsaw pieces didn’t quite fit at times. We’re definitely excited about where we’re going.”

I’m sure you can’t wait for the album, but in the meantime here is Marmozets latest track ‘Play’.
