Foster The People offer new track ‘Sit Next To Me’

At last. A new single from Foster The People. Infectiously catchy, a danceable pop gem it could be nothing less than perfect.

Continuing their streak of their pure compelling tunes, this tune paints in the same colors that all of their most recent releases have – panic over, they haven’t changed completely. It’s a bright, uplifting, and shamelessly fun dance song that screams inspiration in psychedelic 60s music and the most prominent pop trends of today, two genres which never seemed likely to fit.

From only a strand of singles this year, don’t think that the band has changed entirely, only for the good. When the familiar vocals are highlighting the chorus, you can breathe a huge sigh of relief that, while Foster the People are clearly going in new directions with their music (no complaining), their personality is here to stay.

It has been released a few days prior to their eagerly awaited new album: ‘Sacred Hearts Club’ on July 21 via Columbia Records, it is also available for pre-order now. We know we won’t want to miss it, and neither should you!

Sacred Hearts Club comes out next week, on July 21.
