Festival Review: Underground Pt.1

Underground Festival kicked off over the weekend and we’re are giving an exclusive look into how the great indie bands performed.

InHeaven

Inheaven took to the stage and rocked Underground Festival. After a jam packed summer it is amazing to see Inheaven still giving so much energy into their sets. Although the crowd took a little time to get into the swing of things, by the third song, ‘Baby’s Alright’, which the lead singer referred to as ‘one you might know’, the crowd had moved forward to the foot of the stage and were really liking the Inheaven vibes. Throughout the performance it was clear to see how much Inheaven enjoy performing. Smiles on their faces were a true highlight for me. It’s always much easier to enjoy a gig when you know the band performing are too. Overall a great fitting band for Underground Festival which highlighted the very best of upcoming indie bands.

Anteros

Anteros are one of our favourite new bands, we love the feel good sing along indie, with it’s sharp edge. We have seen the London three times now, and we fall in love with a new song each time. We first time we saw them was when they supported High Tyde at The Sugarmill, we were hooked instantly by their Indie pop sound. Anteros played the second stage at Underground Festival to a pretty chilled crowd. They kicked off with breakfast, to give fans a familiar song to get involved with, this was followed by ‘The Beat’, a song to get the room into the vibe.
