Favourite Live Performance Nomination #1 – Milburn

Milburn

When it comes to music, live performances are arguably one the greatest ways to listen to music. Tours, Festivals, Busking, whatever the weather you can always guarantee that the music fans will pull through and support new emerging talent. Over the past 12 months we’ve been lucky enough to attend some of the summer-weekend festivals, the inner-city gems and even catch bands up and down the country at some of the best venues that the UK has to offer.

Milburn have had a phenomenal year, coming out of the shadows and watching a mass of fans gather behind them to offer support.

It all started when they sold out the O2 Academy Sheffield 5 nights on the trot! That then led to festival appearances and touring their first 2 albums which are nearly 10 years old. But due to high levels of support they have recently announced they will be making a third album. Read what their plans are here in this exclusive interview.

However they have made our Favourite Live Performance shortlist due to their blistering performance at The Sugarmill in Stoke-on-Trent. The crowds were insane, Mosh-pits so big it reached the bar. So much so, one poor guy dropped his drink the second he turned round! Although, the fact your couldn’t buy a drink made this gig. Fans we so focused on the music and that made Joe Carnell and the band engage the fans in as many ways as they possibly could.

The winner of each category will announced on 3oth of December.
