The Gallerys released their second EP ‘It’s Up To You’ last month (December 18) following on from their debut EP ‘Paisley.
The trio from Kent have been building up a strong fanbase at lightning speed – supporting big household name Madness twice and toured with The Rifles and King Blues, you can clearly smell the pedigree in this trio.
Recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, their brand new EP ‘It’s up to You’, is a burst of classic British Rock ‘n’ Roll, it’s very refreshing to see young lads still inspired to make sixties music fashionable again.
Craig (Bass/Vox) and James (Guitar/Vox) voices have a Stereophonics vibe bouncing off their upbeat guitar melodies and driving bass lines.
‘Over The Bridge’ and ‘Doctor Friend’ bring out the bands raw energy and feel good vibes that come from their The Jam and The Who influences as well as carrying on from the style of ‘Imperfect Perception’ from their debut EP.
The title track is rooted very much in the sixties, with some catchy vocal harmonies above, mixed with a Who-esque melody.
With a catalogue of songs in the pipeline for 2018 and sublime live shows in their back pocket, The Gallerys are ones to watch as we head into a very exciting year for British guitar music.
