Hailing from Norwich, Ducking Punches are a punk quartet have released a new track, ‘Distant Shadows’ ahead of their upcoming album release, Alamort, on 16 February. As well as adding new tour dates to their lengthy run of shows across Europe and the UK from February to May.
Speaking about the new track, Dan Allen says; “Distant Shadows is about drifting apart from friends through a lack of trying and a lack of common ground. It focuses on how fickle friendships are not healthy to have in your life. The title is a play on words taking the line from Horace and twisting the meaning.”
The new release from Ducking Punches sounds as though its a message we could all take into 2018 and have a detox, however, the punning and deep message that the track holds add to the fact its another fine addition to their expanding discography.
