Dish Pit create thrilling grungy alt-rock

Dish Pit

Montreal rock trio Dish Pit return with their new release ‘Family Man’; their third of 2018.

The female-led punk-rock band have Brighton roots too. Having wowed audiences in the UK with festival appearances and some radio play on BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio, Dish Pit’s thrilling rock music is gripping the two countries.

‘Family Man’ is the latest release before they record their debut album with legendary producers Gordon Raphael (Strokes, Damon Albarn) and Steve Albini (Nirvana, Breeders). And I have to say, their punky, gritty and grungy rock-fuelled tunes will tear up any stage they set foot on. Family Man is a thrilling track that catches you instantly as it did for me when I first listened in.

This British/Canadian band have a fierce live show and songs discussing female empowerment and class division whilst maintaining mischievousness and humour. We look forward to hearing this debut album down the line.
