VALERAS, it’s great to have a chat! We love your music as you well know. In the next few weeks you take on one a huge London headline show, what should we expect!?!
Fire breathing dragons, magicians and of course some butt-kicking new tunes we’ve been dying to play live! We’re writing stuff like never before, there’s fresh energy and excitement. We just want to make people feel something, and I’m sure you’ll be jumping and dancing with us. We’re so excited for this one!
You had a huge 2019 on the live side, what was the highlight?
It would be so difficult to pick one specific moment. We did so many things we’re proud of and feel lucky to have experienced. Some highlights would be our first ever headline tour in February, our incredible summer festival season including MadCool, Sziget and Reading & Leeds. Also, we played a wicked secret house show on Halloween.
Your tunes have been listened to hundreds of thousands of times across the world as Spotify informs us, Spotify is now such a big player in the industry, how important do you think it is for acts?
We love Spotify and use it day-to-day. Yes, it’s important but not more than focusing on the real importance of being an artist. To us, that is creating music we’re proud of and building a good live show. I think that should always remain the main focus for artists.
If you created a VALERAS Festival, and could pick three headliners, who would you go for?!
