Wolf Alice

When it comes to music, live performances are arguably one the greatest ways to listen to music. Tours, Festivals, Busking, whatever the weather you can always guarantee that the music fans will pull through and support new emerging talent. Over the past 12 months we’ve been lucky enough to attend some of the summer-weekend festivals, the inner-city gems and even catch bands up and down the country at some of the best venues that the UK has to offer.

Wolf Alice traveled to Keele University in March on their debut album, ‘My Love Is Cool’ UK tour to packed out crowds. Their incredible album took off so quickly, especially at young ages they have done an amazing job.

Theo and Joff, tried to get the crowd more involved by swinging their guitars as if they were from ACDC or The Rolling Stones. Once you think you’ve finally cooled down and wiped the sweat from your face ‘Fluffy’ got the crowd back into action but was only to be short lived after Ellie, Theo, Joff and Joel all put down their guitars and drum sticks to head off backstage. After a couple of attempts to bring Wolf Alice back on stage for their grand encore with massive hit track ‘Giant Peach’.

After a couple of attempts to bring Wolf Alice back on stage for their grand encore with massive hit track ‘Giant Peach’. The track won ‘Best Live Song’ at the NME Awards last year, and it deservedly goes last on their set list it felt like a life time achievement to witness this song. The atmosphere especially was immense, so it’s well worth the mosh pit!

The winner from each categories will be announced on 30th December.
