Best International Act nominee #10 – The Griswolds

The Griswolds

Being a UK website, it would be very easy to miss such talent that is only a plane away. But due to dedication we want to highlight the significance that international music makes to the industry as a whole. It’s very likely that bands will often make an impact into other countries and create a following across all parts of the globe. Here’s a band that we would love to come to the UK sometime.

Australian quartet, The Griswolds are our final nominee for Best International Act. Why? Well after a very impressive debut album, ‘Be Impressive’ last year the band took off almost immediately gathering an impressive half a million fans in a year is a massive achievement. Also, popular track ’16 years’ got the prestigious feature on FIFA 15’s playlist.

The Griswolds just released their second album ‘High Times For Low Lives’ last month, solidifying their indie pop might, which has taken off across the pond in the states. Hit single off the album ‘Out Of My Head’ sticks to the bands previous electro-pop vibes with the rest of the album taking a heavier approach to their sound.

The winner from each category will be announced on Friday 30th December.
