Our Artist Spotlight this week goes to London indie pop duo, The Curious Incident who make a grand return after the release of their debut EP ‘Penney Lonesome’.
The band has had a change of personnel since we last wrote about their EP with now only two members, Kairo and Diego, but are still creating that unique blend of indie pop with a cool Caribbean twist.
This band certainly know how to make some really funky melodies that really kick off as soon as it starts, especially in their latest single, ‘Honey Hunger’. The track kick starts instantly and gets your toe tapping from the first note, with a sort of samba vibe to the song which really shouldn’t work but does so well.
The lads have had numerous amounts of praise from BBC Introducing London has helped to solidify themselves has one of the hottest emerging talent in the capital.
