Artist Spotlight – October Drift

October Drift

In the heart of Somerset, October Drift are making one heck of a noise in the beautiful countryside. Bursting onto the scene in 2015 with their beefy yet melodic sound, they are blowing in confidence to winning over audiences across the UK.

October Drift’s explosive, melancholic sound displays a cleaner, leaner take on their visceral post-rock whilst remaining wonderfully atmospheric. Tracks such as ‘Cherry Red’ and ‘Cinnamon Girl’ encapsulates them in a nutshell, crafting emotive sky-gazing rock but then have the ability to take it back a notch with their rhythm guitar making sweet melodies in ‘Syrup’.

A band with their sights set on a bright future and who know how to go about getting there, Kiran Roy, Chris Holmes, Alex Bispham and Daniel Young already have two EPs under their belts I look forward to hearing new material this year!
