Bands are constantly releasing new music, but in the music industry it seems to be albums that make the most impact. It’s probably due to the thought and consideration of structuring an album, having a hidden message, the artwork or even just making a cracking playlist! 2016 has certainly served up some beauties for our ears and it’s only fair that we celebrate their excellence.

It’s fair to say that Geen Day are veterans of indie rock music and their 12th studio album ‘Revolution Radio’ just shows that once you have the talent, you keep the talent.

The 90’s American punk rock feel just doesn’t get boring just listen back to the album, frontman Billie Armstrong head is still bursting with new ideas which is why they deserve to be nominated for Album Of The Year.

Green Day embark on their world tour in January kicking off in Turin, Italy before having a short break before heading out to America.

Find out who will win ‘Album Of The Year’ on Friday 30th December.
